So, is everyone happy with their 10-week mentors? I have Mr. Smith. I am so glad that I finally have a teacher who will not allow me to be a total slacker.

3:36PM - My opening paragraph- what do you think of it??

Many people believe that making condoms available in schools would increase sexual activity among students, saying that that would encourage teens to have sex before marriage. However, studies have shown this to be untrue. A study of schools in Massachusetts that made condoms available to high-school students foundd that the number of students who used condoms doubled. Another study of a school district in Los Angeles, California, found an increase of 1/3 in the number of sexually experienced males using condoms. Condoms should be made available to all high-schools students, because doing so can increase the number of students who practice safe sex.

Current mood: working- should be, anyways

5:51PM - HELP

my mom needs help.

more specifically, she needs help with the BOU Auction. there's a major volunteer shortage, and since we all know that LSers are THE coolest, most awesomest (yes that is a word) people in all the world, she has asked for our help (is anyone else being reminded of a comic book?? we sound like a band of super-heroes. well we are. but back to what i was supposed to be talking about...)

Friday afternoon/night:

300- 530(ish)- set-up

715-930- help with live auction(s)

800-915- help with silent auction

if you can help, email my mom at MrsKTMom@aol.com

Thankee bunches!!!!

Current mood: eh, okay-ish
